There are moments by the sea when words seem unnecessary. The rhythm of the waves, the ever-changing light and the endless horizon have a way of quietening the mind while filling us with renewed energy. Ocean Energy was inspired by those moments.

Rather than depicting a specific coastline, this original painting explores the feeling of standing before the ocean as waves surge towards the shore beneath a sky alive with light. Expressive brushwork and richly layered acrylic paint create movement and depth, while warm amber tones meet cool ocean blues to evoke the changing colours of sunrise and sunset over the sea.

This contemporary semi-abstract seascape invites each viewer to discover their own story within it. Some see strength and resilience in the breaking waves; others find calm, hope or memories of places they love.
