Peinte à partir d'une longue familiarité avec le climat du littoral et les mers changeantes, l'œuvre se concentre sur le rythme, l'atmosphère et le point de rencontre entre le ciel et l'eau.
Des teintes de violet doux, d'or chaud et de gris-bleu froid s'entremêlent pour évoquer ce moment juste avant le crépuscule, lorsque la mer est encore agitée, mais que la lumière commence à décliner. La texture de la surface et le travail du pinceau sont délibérément préservés dans l'estampe, lui conservant ainsi le caractère et la présence de la peinture originale.
Il s'agit d'une œuvre contemplative, non pas dramatique pour le simple plaisir de l'être, mais ancrée dans la réalité, stable et d'une immersion paisible.

Unframed prints are sent wrapped in tissue, in a postal tube, for you to choose your own frame. All my prints fit standard frame sizes.
Framed prints are available in white, black and oak stain finishes.
Framed prints are protected with a 3mm sheet of acrylic glazing. Please be aware there is a little bit of reflection on the glazing, if you prefer no reflection, please look at my framed canvas prints as they have no glazing.
