I stood there in complete silence, captivated as ribbons of crimson, molten orange and luminous gold stretched across the horizon beneath deep violet clouds. The entire sky seemed alive, changing from one heartbeat to the next.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMy wife has always smiled at my fascination with the heavens and affectionately calls me \u003cstrong\u003e\"The Sky Man.\"\u003c\/strong\u003e She's right. Throughout my life, I have found myself looking upwards, waiting for those rare moments when the sky stops being a backdrop and becomes the main event.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis painting is not about recreating a landscape with photographic accuracy.
